The 7th annual Kingwood Oktoberfest will return to Holy Comforter Lutheran Church and will take place on October 19, 2024, from 11 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The Kingwood Oktoberfest was a huge success in 2023! Over 1,000 people attended the Holy Comforter event and had tons of fun in the sun. Check our Facebook for snapshots and a recap of the day!
The 2023 Kingwood Oktoberfest featured German-inspired fare such as bratwurst, German potato salad, and pretzels. We had live polka music from The Texas Sound Check Band and this year we got quite a few out on the dance floor. Everyone enjoyed the beer selection of craft beers from DECA Beer Company. We were happy to welcome DJ Rick once again this year. We had great participation in our second annual The Kingwood Oktoberfest costume contest for adults and children with over a dozen participants. Thanks to Toys and Candy, Amedeos, and The Cove for their generous prize donations. In addition to the extended children’s area, which included a trackless train and toddler town, we also had games for adults including cornhole and washers year.
